When we first launched the site the points had two purposes:
- Earn free time
- Use in auctions
We have not done an auction in a while, but if we ever do have one again, you would be able to use them to bid on items and pay with points.
Ultimately at this juncture the points are more of a testament to how much someone has contributed to the site.
